This blog will continue to put out ideas on how families can get better. The web is filled with companies, blogs, coaches, people who want to improve the fate of both men and women in this society. Families are getting the boost as well.

While it is cool to have consumers make noise and demand the media stop portraying men in an unrealistic light, we also need to promote the fairness of treatment of people in general. Challenge stereotypes that don’t make sense. There is no penalty to being born male or female. Society imposes cost to each for being themselves. We can change the mindset of society by each changing our own.

Don’t just laugh at the put-downs. Don’t participate in sharing memes that put down people. Don’t encourage the putting down of others. And when a guy is struggling, same with a gal, words of encouragement can go a long way to helping them find their way and voice. Becoming a man is a teachable thing just like becoming a woman. Let us make it a privilege to be born. Take the unnecessary cost out of the equation.

A happy home needs both mom and dad to be at their best to foster the environment that allows children to thrive and for the parents to thrive. CEO’s, lead your home to better by being better and encouraging better.
